Frequently Asked Questions

U.S. FDA food facility registration documentation is held for IBIC International Trading Co. Registration does not constitute FDA approval or guarantee shipment clearance. Applicable certification and shipment documentation must be confirmed for the supplying facility, product and order.

IBIC can provide applicable certification, traceability and product documentation for European buyers to review. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018 and other credentials apply within their documented scopes. Product eligibility, destination requirements and individual retailer qualification criteria must be assessed separately.

ISO 22000 is the international standard for food safety management systems — it requires a supplier to identify all food safety hazards across the supply chain, implement HACCP-based control measures, maintain documented food safety management procedures, and undergo regular third-party audits. ISO 22000 certification for IBIC means that an independent certification body has verified that IBIC’s food safety management system meets the international standard — providing buyers with audited assurance beyond self-declaration.

Please identify the product and destination market when submitting your inquiry. Our team will confirm whether applicable Halal documentation is available before accepting an order with this requirement.
